A portrait of director Pippo Delbono in and out a show never replicated, done for the 99 Biennale at the Arsenale in Venice. Delbono works with outsiders, trumps, people with disabilities and refugees with whom he created a sort of artistic travelling community. He is openly HIV-positive, often very appreciated by critics although at times accused to instrumentalize his staff members. The authors’ attempt is to give back a laical vision on some aspects of Delbono’s work and personality. The documentary was entirely filmed at the Arsenale in Venice of which the extraordinary, unique, alienating and metaphysic atmosphere, is underlined.
