THE RIVER’S CONFRATERNITY

(cough and love don’t hide)

During an artistic residency at the BocsArt in Cosenza, I imagined the people who worked there as some sort of protectors of the artists they were hosting. I asked them to tell me their stories and, as portraying them, to help me represent this supposed story of holy humanity.
The deuterocanonical or apocryphal books narrate of a happy acolyte of women and men settled along the banks of Crati river.

This little community- of which time frame is uncertain- was dedicated to art’s cult and love. Their extraordinary lives are printed on the back of the saints’ cards of this utopic Icons Collection.

Saints’ cards: Photolithography on matte cardstock or watermark.

Sizes: 6x11
